Ten years. I’ve added at least one post a day since July 2007. Sometimes I backpost a week’s worth of posts, yes. And other times the post of the day is pure filler. But still, thousands of posts.
Just for fun, I generated a few random dates and went back to see what I posted on that day.
Another anniversary, the walkman was 30 years old, which means it’ll be 40 years old in 2019. Crikey. I think I still have this Walkman in my desk drawer, and some tapes mm and I recorded for each other in our early days. I don’t have my case of mixed tapes anymore though.
We were on our scandanavian cruise and on that day we reached Geiranger. Even now I remember the beauty of the fjords. We docked early in the morning and it was a tender port. Walked a bit to the waterfall, the fjord centre and around the port. Didn’t go on any excursions. The scenery as we sailed out was spectacular.
Wow, this is freaky! Exactly 10 years ago. Day 15 of my big trip. I’d started with an awful delay experience at JFK (the last time I flew delta and likely the last time ever). I rented a car and drove in the night, by myself, from JFK to Chicago. 19hrs, I think. Then Car and I went on a road trip to Fort Worth and Washington DC, arriving on 4 July to watch the fireworks. Got back to Chicago and on that day we went to an outlet mall. A restful and boring day.
