it's been another long while since I write here. been busy with changing jobs - unfortunately, not the actual, physical changing or moving jobs, but have to deal with situations. been torn apart between sf and new firm. sf wants me to stay until end of the year. new firm wants me to start next week. for the last few days, the client joined in, asking me to stay back until the end of her case. she said she would speak to snake that if he does not keep me, the case will go with me. but her case won't be heard until some time mid- or 3Q of next year. if I do stay back, snake won't like it as he would regard it as something that is pushed down his throat, and when the case ends, what do I do?? selfish client. never appreciates anything. she even asked sf to persuade me to stay back until next year. she said i could always get a job after her case! there seems to be no limit to this selfishness!!

sf had told me that vos thought jm's idea was insane. he did a redacted copy of his note of the conference between him/client/snake and vos, and sent it to jm who is preparing the case. he (sf) said he has to redact it as a lot of bad things were said about jm and he would not like it. he said he will show it to me. when i reminded him to show me that just now, he blames me and asked why was I so obssessed into seeing the unredacted note? I was speechless and hurt - I thought that's what he wants to show me! just because I reminded him when or after he had changed his mind therefore I should be treated like this??? so unfair.

from now on, I shall be friendly but business-like. i don't want to be hurt anymore. i know, i know, i am too easily hurt, but that's the way i am. i'm not going to apologise for it.

It's been a while since I wrote on this web. As you can see from the previous entries, I have been on holiday and hat was great!

we have planned, tentatively, what our Friday and Saturday's dinners are going to be. There was a moment yesterday when I could not remember at all what they are going to be - sign of getting old, I guess. So, if I do forget again, here they are:

Friday Pumpkin soup + garlic bread
Sat Lamb ribs

Yummy! And who cares if my petty boss is getting smaller every minute - I'll be out here in less than 2 months.
